Google enters the connectivity business by offering Google Fiber, starting in Kansas. Surely they’ll filter & harvest all of the traffic in the pipe to provide better “searches results and services”. Of course fiber is available in many places already globally, but once fiber really is as common as Broadband is now, the net and its business models will change quite a lot.
