It’s great to see how Swedish professor Hans Rosling has turned into a data visualization super star in just few years. Or perhaps he always was, but I’ve only come to know about him since his interesting and entertaining TED2006 presentation.
However, in the attached BBC clip, Rosling is presenting in the television documentary The Joy of Stats, which was broadcast in the United Kingdom by BBC Four in December 2010. The message is still the same, but this time in its most flashy version. Check out the TED 2006 & 2007 videos below for a much expanded analysis of his data and various other visualizations.
